A6. The Conference of Rulers is composed of Their Royal Highnesses the rulers of the states and the Yang di-Pertua Negeri of the states.

A7. No. Only Their Royal Highnesses the rulers of the states shall participate in the election of the Yang di-Pertuan Agong. Their Royal Highnesses the rulers of the states may not even send a representative to vote on their behalf.

A8. The Assistant Secretary of the Conference of Rulers shall make the declaration on behalf of the Keeper of the Rulers’ Seal.
